SCM Wind Symphony Concert

As COVID restrictions ease, and Sydney-siders are able to go out more and enjoy live music again, on Friday March 19th they filled the Conservatorium of Music to (Covid-Safe) capacity for the SCM Wind Symphony’s first concert of 2021, conducted by Steve Williams.

Mark’s concert band version of “The Passing” was performed in a program featuring works by Dmitri Shostakovich, Vittorio Giannini and Mark John McEncroe.

The Governor of NSW attended and there was a real buzz in the venue.

Here’s to more live music!

The Sydney Scoring Orchestra recording of “The Passing” is available on the 2021 “Fanfare Suite” album, out now on Navona records.
